Mint Commercial Interiors Ltd recognise and are committed to meeting their legal and moral H&S duties.
The Managing Director has overall responsibility for H&S and through himself and his workforce is fully committed
to providing and maintaining, so far as is reasonably practicable:

  • Plant and systems of work that are safe and without risks to health;
  • Suitable arrangements for the safety and minimisation of risks to health in connection with the use, handling, storage and
    transportation of articles and substances at work;
  • Adequate information, instruction, training and supervision necessary to ensure the health and safety at work of its employees;
  • Maintenance of the company offices and shop in a condition which is safe, without risks to health and has safe means of
    access and egress;
  • A working environment which is safe, without risks to health and adequate in relation to welfare facilities in order to ensure
    adequate arrangements for its employees, visitors and contractors whilst at work;
  • Carrying out works and services to ensure that any persons not in Mint Commercial Interiors Ltd employment are
    not exposed to risks to their H&S or indeed anyone else affected by their activities.

In addition to the above all company employees have responsibilities for health and safety of both themselves and anyone else affected by their working practices. Mint Commercial Interiors Ltd are committed to providing the necessary training (both at induction and on-going stage). Co-operation, consultation and communication of H&S matters and reporting of hazards are welcomed as part of the pro-active H&S culture within the company.

The contents of this policy will be brought to the attention of staff, contractors and other affected persons and will be subject
to annual review.

Environmental Policy Statement

It is the policy of Mint Commercial Interiors Ltd to do all its business in a way that will lessen or eliminate any adverse effect
on the environment.

In order to achieve this, the company will:

  • Use all good environmental practices in its day-to-day operations.
  • Use material from sustainable sources.
  • Use registered waste disposal companies for removal of all waste streams.
  • Ensure all company vehicles meet all emission standards.
  • Always maintain high standards of cleanliness in respect of litter and waste packaging.
  • Ensure any cleaning agents used are of a biodegradable nature.
  • Ensure any chemicals used do not present and environmental hazard.
  • Limit to a minimum, and strive to eliminate all emissions to the atmosphere eg dusts and carbon dioxide.
  • Limit to a minimum the use of electricity and gas supplied and to eliminate any wastage. The general aim is a 20% reduction in energy consumption in the next two years.
  • Stop the use of any chemicals that have detrimental effect on the ozone layer.
  • Consider all environmental impacts of new equipment or new work undertaken.
  • Lessen the impact of any nuisance noise and to work within set hours in residential areas.
  • Respect all client policies aimed at a better environment.
